Police Seize 38kg of Narcotics in Birjand

BIRJAND -- Police organization in Birjand in Khorasan Province said here Saturday that over 38kg of assortment of drugs were seized last week.

It added that the haul included 1.8kg of hashish as well as 37kg of opium seized in search of vehicles traveling in local roads.

It added that the smugglers and the haul have been handed to the judicial authorities.
